Filipino Martial Arts- Balintawak
Filipino Martial Arts (FMA)—also known as Arnis, Eskrima, or Kali—are practical, weapons-based systems from the Philippines that emphasize speed, flow, and real-world self-defense. Training begins with sticks and blades, treating them as natural extensions of the hand, before transitioning into empty-hand techniques. Known for their versatility, FMA seamlessly blends striking, trapping, grappling, and joint locks while encouraging the use of everyday objects as weapons. Adaptable and efficient, these arts are designed to prepare practitioners of all levels for realistic combat situations.
Jeet Kune Do (JKD), or the “Way of the Intercepting Fist,” is a martial arts philosophy developed by Bruce Lee that emphasizes simplicity, directness, and efficiency over rigid styles. Rooted in adaptability, economy of motion, and interception, JKD teaches practitioners to respond fluidly to real combat situations while expressing themselves freely. Rather than a fixed system, it is a path of personal growth—encouraging individuals to keep what works, discard what doesn’t, and move with purpose and freedom.

Kung Fu refers to traditional Chinese martial arts, encompassing diverse styles such as Shaolin and Wing Chun that focus on unarmed combat, self-defense, and weapons training. Rooted in discipline and dedication, Kung Fu emphasizes mastery achieved through consistent effort over time. Its training blends striking, kicking, grappling, and a wide range of techniques, while also promoting physical fitness and mental, spiritual, and meditative development. More than just a fighting system, Kung Fu represents a way of life that cultivates inner balance, resilience, and personal growth.
